Grovia Organic Cotton Absorbent
Grovia Organic Cotton Absorbent
The original name of this absorbent is Soaker Pad and it is Only compatible with Grovia covers. These pads, along with the covers, are part of a simple two-piece system: at each change, you take off the dirty pad and put on a clean one.
The fabric of this absorbent is organic cotton and therefore you need to prepare them before use. What do I mean by prepare before use? Absorbents in natural fabrics need to be prepared, ie washed several times, to reach their maximum absorption capacity. If you don't, you could have leaks.
Characteristics of the Grovia No-Prep Soaker Pad
To be used on Grovia covers as a two-piece system, or SIO (Snap in One):
- Compatible with grovia cloak springs or velcro;
- 5 layers of pure organic cotton in direct contact with your baby's skin;
- It has a double inner crotch and soft elastics, which prevent liquid poop from escaping to the cover;
- Recommended size: 3.5 - 13+ kg.
- For each layer you only need 3-4 pads, which makes this system an economical option
Mom tip?
This pad has a TPU layer underneath, which is great for not getting the cover wet. But, the TPU layer insulates the fabric and makes drying time consuming. To overcome this and speed up drying, turn the pad upside down.
